Please read the recent post from Mark Winegarden attached below. Mark is right in saying that our residents need to get involved and let their voices need to be heard. More importantly they need to seek out the facts as to what and why the majority of our council is in favour of the development of a Main Street and the redevelopment of beach 1 & 2. Mark is part of small group of people that have been in opposition to a wide range of things this Council is trying to accomplish to improve our town and we believe that the best ideas come from differing opinions coming together to create the best possible solutions and initiatives. However when a position seemingly becomes an agenda to try to discredit the will of council at every turn one starts to question the motives.
The best approach is to become well informed about the facts and not to be fooled by fear mongering and redderick! We need as many of you as possible to attend this Tuesday’s Council meeting starting at 7:00 PM. Come early to ensure seating.
