IMPACT WASAGA BEACH CLUB CORONAVIRUS FRONT LINE WORKER RECOGNITION INITIATIVE UPDATE - APRIL 2ND, 2020
Good Afternoon Impact Wasaga Beach Club Members;
Just want to provide an update on our Impact Wasaga Beach Club Coronavirus Front Line Workers Recognition Initiative and to thank everyone that has made a donation to date.
We have raised $1,300.00 and have delivered thank you packages including gift cards to four pharmacies. We are currently preparing a thank you package with gift card for another pharmacy and individual thank you packages for 47 Saint Elizabeth Health Care Personal Support Workers servicing the Wasaga Beach area. In addition we will also be making a $550.00 donation to the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank and this number will grow if we continue to receive additional donations.
In recognizing our local heroes that continue to provide us with essential services we require we have also been able to help support some of our hard hit local business. To date we have purchased almost $700.00 in gift cards from our local Subway, Tim Horton’s, Swiss Chalet, Boston Pizza, MacDonald’s and Dairy Queen restaurants.
