Our Next Meeting:

Tuesday, September 19th Meeting 6:30 – 8:30pm Location: Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce Boardroom 550 River Road West, Wasaga Beach

This group is designed to help promote our fellow business owners by taking some time to get to know one another and give each other quality referrals.

At each meeting we will introduce ourselves with our 30-second infomercial, then we will have a speaker give us tips, tools, advice and valuable information about small business in general. Then we will have 2 business spotlights. This is where you get to give a 10-minute presentation all about your business. We will choose 2 members prior to each meeting so that you will have plenty of time to prepare. Each of us will also draw a business card and then make an appointment with that person to find out all about their business so that you can hopefully provide them with a quality referral. 

Our speaker for this meeting will be: Patricia Dent - Grow Vantage Topic:  Mindset for growing your business: ingredients for getting to the next level A business coach, Patricia is the CEO of Grow Vantage. She works with business owners to design, launch and grow their businesses, teaching strategies in marketing, sales, communications, and finance, as well as techniques to increase productivity and manage and protect their businesses. In other words, what business owners need to know to reach profitability sooner and avoid the mistakes that can cost money, or delay success.   With over 25 years of business experience from start-up to corporate, she has worked in multiple sectors. Patricia has had past volunteer board experience with charitable organizations and is currently a volunteer mentor for start-up programs as well as the President of the Board of Directors of the Barrie Chamber of Commerce.   Patricia has a degree in Sociology from U of T, Marketing certification from Ryerson University and designations in coaching, event management and CRM.   Grow Vantage is a training program for entrepreneurs that was founded 14 years ago. Starting its 44th group in October, Grow Vantage helps business owners learn the skills they need to run their businesses successfully, to grow their networks, and avoid costly mistakes through on-demand coaching and peer mentorship.
