Our Next Meeting:

Tuesday, October 17th Meeting 6:30 – 8:30pm Location: Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce Boardroom 550 River Road West, Wasaga Beach Cost: $5 to help cover cost of room and beverages

This group is designed to help promote our fellow business owners by taking some time to get to know one another and give each other quality referrals.

At each meeting we will introduce ourselves with our 30-second infomercial, then we will have a speaker give us tips, tools, advice and valuable information about small business in general. Then we will have 2 business spotlights. This is where you get to give a 10-minute presentation all about your business. We will choose 2 members prior to each meeting so that you will have plenty of time to prepare. Each of us will also draw a business card and then make an appointment with that person to find out all about their business so that you can hopefully provide them with a quality referral. 

Our speaker for this meeting will be: Christina De Palma of De Palma & Associates Christina owns and operates a paralegal firm offering legal representation for Small Claims Court cases, Landlord and Tenant Disputes, Traffic Tickets and several other areas of law. The firm specializes in handling non-payment of invoices for small businesses. Christina will be discussing the legal options available to your business if a client does not pay your invoice. This is a situation that most small business owners will face and it is important to know how to handle the situation properly and how to get the money your business deserves.  As an expert in this area, Christina will walk us through our options and provide us with the knowledge we need if this situation happens to our business.
