Christina moved to Wasaga Beach two years ago with her husband, Salvatore. Marlene Parkins – Wasaga Beach Farmers Market
Marlene moved to the beach 3 years ago and became an active member of the community right away. She is Secretary of the Wasaga Beach Lions Club and one of the original organizers of the Main Street Farmers Market. Marlene comes from a retail background; family chain of high end bath/bedding stores for over 40 years in the Greater Toronto Area and then a buyer for Party City (formerly Party Packagers). She has 3 children and 3 step children and is the proud grandmother of 5! Marlene is looking forward to her new role as Director and being involved with all the great things happening in the beach!

Elijah started this training business three years ago specializing in Emergency Preparedness, CPR, First Aid and much more, including the sale of safety products at competitive prices. He has vast experience in his field and can be contacted to discuss much of the mandatory training required for employees and the potential fines for non-compliance that many small businesses are not familiar with. Jennie Elmslie is an outdoor enthusiast who has made the Nottawasaga River and Metcalfe Rock her "office" for years.
She started Free Spirit Tours in 1998 and it has proved to be the perfect career to share her love of the outdoors with others. Free Spirit Tours offers paddling, rock climbing, caving, snowshoeing and a variety of other programs to people of all ages. For over 20 years the business has continued to grow and expand.
In recent years Free Spirit has started a Forest & Nature School for children ages 4 – 11 years. The school supports children in learning about their inherent, interconnected relationship with the Earth.
Jennie is excited to be part of the Chamber of Commerce and to be working together with other people and businesses.
