To Whom this May Benefit, I am a young resident that was born and raised in Wasaga Beach. I am 29 years of age and had the great experience of being in Wasaga when the Main End, Beach 1, was thriving. I feel, as I know a lot of young people do, that Wasaga Beach kind of hit a halt after the fire, burning down the “fun” part of Wasaga. It’s almost like Wasaga gave up, and we just continued to plummet. I know a lot of store owners, home owners, young people raising families etc., that are worried about the towns future. The new addition to the “Wasaga Main Street” at Beach One with the small local businesses’ is the best thing I have seen in years! The other day I stopped at the “Wasaga Info” location at the new main street area and picked up some flyers, mainly for upcoming events in the area. For years I never thought to grab an info. booklet about Wasaga but after picking the newest addition, not our normal boring looking one, I ran and showed everyone I was with and then picked up 5 more to give to friends visiting and even my local friends and family. From the Important Numbers section, SUPER easy to follow Food & Drink section (AMAZING!), map, directory… this booklet is awesome. I went to school for Public Relations and Marketing for 4 years and usually I can pick anything a part. This book, to me and everyone I have shown, is perfect. Informative, easy-to-read, bright and not to mention great for local businesses! BRAVO !!! From, A Local Young Resident of Wasaga Beach
