Shop Local - Shop Wasaga Beach – Make it your first stop!
Early last summer, the Chamber of Commerce established a “Shop in Wasaga Beach” committee to investigate the reasons why residents and visitors shop, or do not shop, in Wasaga Beach and what might be done to encourage support of our community’s businesses. The committee’s role is to work with the Chamber to encourage our residents and visitors to first consider Wasaga Beach businesses whenever a product or service is needed. We’ll also be working to make it easier for consumers to locate the products they’re looking for as well as providing information to our business owners about what our consumers are saying would make it easier for them to shop in Wasaga Beach. Watch for announcements as the Chamber of Commerce begins to implement some of the committee’s suggestions. Our goal is to make business in Wasaga Beach the best it can be - for consumers and business owners!

1. Do the math with your gas! Have you ever figured out just how much it costs you to drive to Brampton to get your hair done or buy a new washing machine? Ontario companies and agencies pay mileage at rates of 35¢-50¢ per kilometre. That means they would calculate the cost of driving from Wasaga Beach to Brampton and back at a whopping $77 - $110! And, there are probably many things you would enjoy more than sitting in your car for several hours to travel back and forth.

FaceART is located in Wasaga Beach.We provide artistic face painting services in Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Barrie, surrounding areas, Toronto and GTA for a minimum of 1 hour and 1 face pain...ter. Then, upwards to 8 face painters or more for full-day and longer events. Recent events include Wasaga Beach Fest, Canada Day Celebrrations and Silvercrest Christian School. Repeat clients include TELUS , CBC KidsSummer and the Toronto Police Association.
Face painting is a fun activity to include at private events, like family barbecues and birthday parties. FaceART excels at face painting because of our fine arts background. Many designs are available to inspire and awaken a child's imagination. Adults typically get in on the fun, too! By booking your event with FaceART, you are getting the best that face painting offers:
1- We work at large and small events drawing and painting designs on many themes - holiday, super hero, safari/animal/wildlife, sports, circus/carnival, fairy tale, company brands/logos and age appropriate...whatever you can think of, we can paint. A display of designs is available to choose from. If needed, stencils can be prepared beforehand based on the theme of your event.
2- We are committed to creating positive experiences for everyone concerned.
3- We use only the highest quality water based face paints made by Kryolan . They are safe and non-toxic cosmetic face paints with no perfumes or toxic ingredients. They comply with ECARF and have received their seal of quality approval based on extensive skin compatibility testing.
4- Gems and sparkles are included in our kit for leisurely events, but are typically used little or not at all when time is of the essence.
5- Xan teaches the FaceART method of face painting to small and large groups.

A note about referrals: When a friend mentions your name and books their event with FaceART, you receive a $10 referral coupon towards your next booking. A referral coupon is valid for 3yrs from the day it's sent by email. Multiple coupons can be accumulated and redeemed all at once, too!
