The Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to participate in a truly unique opportunity this year. During this year’s Small Business Week we have arranged an evening event that will provide you with a chance to share the opportunities and challenges that you face each day as a business owner in the Georgian Triangle, identify and develop connections that will assist you in these areas as well as discuss challenges that we all have in common and begin to develop strategies to approach and move our businesses forward.
The evening will be facilitated by Sandra Kahale of OnWord Consulting. Sandra Kahale loves to bring people together to connect, nourish and grow. A strategic communications professional with a web writing business that launched in Collingwood 6 years ago, Sandra is also a self-proclaimed entrepreneurial enthusiast. She trains new business owners on setting up for success, and is the creator of Confab networking parties, where entrepreneurs go to connect with and support themselves - and each other - in authentic conversations.
A natural facilitator, Sandra has a gift for breaking down barriers and making people feel at home.
At the end of the evening we will have identified some key take away lessons that will be compiled and shared with all of the participants. We look forward to your contribution!
We want everyone to be able to participate in the ongoing discussions. With this in mind we are encouraging attendees to participate in all of the interactive activities of the event.
Please feel free to set up an unmanned display area around the perimeter of the room. We will have power available, if you would like to include a PowerPoint or silent video presentation. The space will be approximately 3’ x 3’ of surface and then the vertical space on the wall. There will be a $5.00 surcharge if power is required.
Setup will be available between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and tear down will occur at the conclusion of the evening, after 9:00 p.m.
Registration is easy. You may register on line at www.movingbusinessforward.eventbrite.ca, or complete the attached registration form and either email it or fax it to the Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce Office.
