I want to help create a complete community in Wasaga Beach; a place to grow for everyone. I was incredibly humbled by the results of the last election and I would like to sincerely thank all of you that voted for me. Although I was not successful, I received a lot of support. Since then, I have continued to learn more about the challenges we face as a town. I was a committee member on both the Wasaga Beach Blues and Wasaga Beach Short Film Festivals. Working with these two events helped me understand the struggles to raise funds and see the different types of tourists that we attract to Wasaga Beach. I have also been the vice-chair of the High School Task Force. It is truly and honor to work with a group of residents that are passionate about bringing a high school to the Beach and to learn from their vast expertise and knowledge. I would like to continue this effort if elected. Collaborating with the Board to build a business case for a HS in Wasaga Beach will have a huge impact on our town and our future. As a Senior Manager at one of Canada’s largest and most successful food companies, it is my job to work with the different department heads to make quality decisions that will benefit the customers and the future of our company. This cannot be achieved without true consensus. Bringing people and ideas together with the intent to create win/win situations is what makes success possible. As a Father and resident of the Beach, I see many of the issues that families face with access to services and I would like to be that voice on council. A voice that reflects the needs of the residents and balances the needs of the tourists and our businesses.
