Wishing you Seasons Greetings and to thank you for your support throughout this Covid 19 pandemic.
Are you looking to traveling in 2022? It has been a long time coming and now we are under new Covid 19 restrictions. A lot of people are still planning to travel despite the travel advisory from the Canadian government. Many of my clients are postponing their trips until the new Omicrom variant is under control.
As for me, I am still planning to travel. I will be leaving for Costa Rica January 15th for a two- week eco tourism adventure. I have had my two Covid 19 shots, my booster shot and my flu shot.
The only problem I have encountered is getting a Covid 19 PCR test. If you are still planning to travel in the next few weeks, I recommend you check with your airline for departure requirements. Finding a location to get the PCR test is not easy. If you find a nearby location check to make sure they will test you for travel. I spent four hours trying to find somewhere to go. I finally found SH Health. You can book online. They are located at the Convention Centre near the airport and will cost you between $250 and $400 (Express RT-PCR test) per person. I have booked an appointment for 4 p.m. the day before I leave and will be staying overnight at a stay and park hotel near the airport. So, unless you want to make a second trip to Mississauga, I suggest getting the Express PCR test.

I am looking forward to seeing what Costa Rica has to offer on both coasts. Our group is very small (15 people, 50+) from around the world. I am travelling with the business award- winning Bamboo Travel. The first week we will be spending time helping a local community with turtle conservation efforts. The second week we are expecting to work with another community helping with sloths and monkeys. We will have lots of time to sail, snorkel and relax on beaches. Stay tuned for an upcoming article.
