We all had a great time last time Donnie Meeker was Freakin' at the Beacon and this time should be no different! Donnie makes his second appearance as a guest artist this Wednesday, November 14! Donnie's a seasoned pro, a veteran of the Toronto music scene, and one of the original members of the popular 1970s Toronto band, Sweet Blindness. More recently, Donnie just completed a stint as lead singer for The Crew, in front of a stellar group of musicians appearing regularly in Collingwood. It promises to be a great night and we hope to see you there!Freakin' at the Beacon happens every Wednesday night at The Beacon Restaurant in Wasaga Beach, 146 45th Street, from 7 to 11. Great music, great food, great atmosphere, loads of laughs, too! The Freakin' Band -- featuring Virgil Scott singing in front of Carl Rabinowitz (bass, vocals), Joey Miquelon (guitar) and Dave Breckels (drums) -- hosts the night and brings you a different guest artist every week. $5 at the door.
